2014 Semi-Stock Truck Rules

Rules are the same as Stock Rules for cars with the following modifications:

  • Open to any ½ or ¾ ton truck, suburban or van.  4x4’s allowed – must not be functional.  No 1-tons or ambulances allowed.
  • No body or suspension lift kits allowed. Maximum bumper height of 28” to the bottom of the bumper.
  • 8-lug rear-ends are allowed. May be welded or spooled.
  • Gas tank mounted in cab or in front of box. Must be secured, safe and covered.
  • Front bumpers may be changed to a car bumper. Outside chrome may be welded. Bumper may be welded onto frame not to exceed 6” onto frame.  No homemade front bumpers allowed. Rear bumpers must remain stock except a piece of angle iron or flat steel may be used not to exceed ½” thick and no longer than frame rail to frame rail in length
  • Dash, seat and door bars are highly recommended. They should be welded or bolted securely to keep the driver protected. No size restriction on bars. Use heavy material such as channel iron or tube steel. Bars may be bolted or welded to the frame and/or the body and cannot extend more than 24” past rear of cab and must not extend further forward than the firewall.
  • Box may be bolted to frame in (8) places including stock locations with 1” max diameter bolts. Washers or plates may be no larger than 6” x 6” x 1/4”. Washers and plates may not be welded to the frame or the box.
  • Tailgate can be chained shut in (6) places, with bolts no larger than 1” diameter or welded shut with (2) 4x4x1/4” plates, per side.
