Who is the real King of Demolition Derby?

I.M.P. Points Series Championship. Key points of the championship are:

  • There is no “buy-in”. All competitors are automatically entered in the point series.
  • Points will be kept for each driver, overall and per car class.
  • There will be an overall winner and winners for each car class.
  • Point winners will receive free entry into all IMP events for that class the following season.  The Overall winner receives free entry into all IMP events the following season.
  • Points will not be kept for heats, only for features. A “one heat go” is considered a feature.
  • Points will not be kept separate for trailer races. Each participant in trailer races will receive corresponding points for place received towards Overall Points Champion.
  • If  less than 5 entries for a class and the class doesn't run, you will receive a free entry to another IMP event and you will be awarded 50 points.
  • Points are non-transferable. They apply only to the driver of the vehicle.
  • Only legal participants will receive participant points.
  • Disqualification due to unruly behavior will result in a points loss penalty.
